 I am a music teacher based in Bristol.

I’ll work with you, at your own pace to learn the foundations of your musical passion, including any aural, theory or notation skills that you want to learn.

Learn to Sing

Do you want more confidence to sing on stage, at gigs, auditions,and concerts?

Or do you want to learn how to sing?

   Based on Classical Techniques and Estill training practices learn to sing in a range of styles and
genres that are proven to increase your repertoire and understanding how your vocals work, and
what you really can do.
   I cover the full Pop Vocals and Musical Theatre Syllabus with the London College of Music exam
board for singing grades in these styles.
Increase your musical theatre knowledge, understanding & performance skills required to deliver the
vast Musical Theatre repertoire. Or if you prefer singing Pop songs I can help you learn the musical
knowledge required along with aural & performance skills for the singing exams.
Learn to sing and work towards your ABRSM singing exams. I cover the full Classic and Musical
Theatre syllabus, including accompanied songs, unaccompanied traditional song (folk song),
sight-singing and your aural tests.

Learn Music Theory

Are you working towards achieving Grade 5 in music theory?

As your instrumental and singing skills develop, to achieve a Grade 5 in music theory you must understand the building blocks of music. Learn the basics of rhythm and notes, compositions and develop a broad knowledge of western music, including composers and their works, structure, style and period.

I’ll support you to achieve a Level 5 Grade in Music Theory.

Learn to play Cello

Do you want to learn how to play Cello and would like extra tuition?

Or are you simply looking to develop your own skills?

I’ll work with you to learn how to play the Cello, from foundation to your Graded ABRSM exams.

I teach children from as young as KS1 (age 6) all the way through to adults.

I’m experienced in teaching and developing your skills in the current ABRSM syllabus, including
scales and arpeggios, sight-reading and aural tests.

Learn to play cello at a time, location and a pace that suits you.

I work with children, schools and adults using a range of skills in an environment to suit you.

I have extensive experience working in schools & colleges and have previously worked with students at Leicester College of Performing Arts, Leicester High School for Girls, Overdale Junior School, Bilton C of E Primary School & ran the singing club at The Dassett Primary in Fenny Compton, Warwickshire
Whilst living in Liecester I was the vocal coach at The Ann Oliver Stage School helping them reach their personal singing, performance goals and Singing Exams.

I’ve been singing and playing the Cello for a span of over 20 years.

I am now very excited to be teaching from Bristol

I’ve worked one-to-one with adults and children from the local community to teach my clients how to sing, how to play cello and to learn musical theory in an enjoyable and informative way.

I’m qualified in:

Diploma in Teaching (Trinity Syllabus) – currently studying towards
A Level and GCSE Music

Grade 7 Cello – currently studying towards
LAMDA Grade 7 Acting.
